CONFIRMED: President Akufo Addo Set To Address The Nation Tonight
President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is set to address the nation tonight as part of his presidential mandate to keep "fellow Ghanaians" abreast with progress attained in the fight against the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
The news got confirmed by the Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah earlier today on his tweeter handle.
This address of the nation will be the president's 11th address since the pandemic made its debut appearance in the country.
The president in his last update eased restrictions on public gatherings. This enabled places of worship such as churches and mosques to operate while observing the recommended protocols he highlighted.
While the boarders still remained closed for obvious reasons, schools were however reopened for final year students at the university, senior high and junior high levels to make preparation for their examination.
President Akufo Addo declared a 'No mask No Entry' policy to be employed by all companies to aid in preventing the spread of the virus.
Many Ghanaians expect today to be updated on new restrictions and actions the president will announce in the bid to eradicate the pandemic.
